There is a lot of confusion on YJHD Vs Dabangg 2 opening records. As always, there is a difference between Box Office India and the Officials.
According to Box Office India, the first weekend Box Office Net collections of Dabangg 2 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani are as follows :-

In YJHD case, the collections of both BOI and Officials are almost same but in case of Dabangg 2, the situation is different. This difference is mainly with Mass Oriented films like Dabangg 2.
So, according to Box Office India, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is the highest non-holiday opener while according to the officials, Dabangg 2 is still the highest non-holiday opener.

This reason of this article is just to clear the doubts. We are not under estimating YJHD. Ranbir Kapoor is a Superstar and the opening of YJHD has proved it. However, as people are comparing Ranbir Kapoor with the Khans, i will say it is too early as the Khans are 20 years old in the industry while Ranbir is just 10 films old. Long way to go for Ranbir. This is just a start. We wish him more and more success.
Let me update you with the Monday Box Office collections of YJHD too. The morning and noon shows are excellent so far. A healthy Monday figure is expected. YJHD can touch or even cross the 10 crore mark on Monday which just three films have done so far ( Dabangg 2, Dabangg and 3 Idiots ).
